The answer to this question is very simple.  It is AMERICAN culture!  America is the home to over 300,000,000 people that are all different from each other.  Also, these 300,000,000 people can all trace their ancestry back to multiple countries all throughout Europe and the rest of the world.  These immigrants and people still today came to the United States in search of freedom and a better life.  Because so many people come to America from so many different areas, the culture of the United States is just as diverse as its population.  So describing the culture of the United States can only be done by saying it is American culture or a very diverse culture.  For example, consider the last reading about the marriage of the Vietnamese woman and the American man.  This is a perfect example of how culture in the United States is so diverse.  This couple combined their two cultures of their native homelands and now sacrifice some areas of their life to form a new culture combined of Vietnamese and the United States culture.  As previously stated, American culture is so diverse because of the diversity of its population.  The people make up the culture and the United States is by far the most diverse nation in the land.  So trying to figure out who’s culture it is in the United States is impossible because there has never existed a culture like that of the United States.
